I use to listen radio while I’m driving either in Taiwan or in U.S.A. I found a very good radio program called “Delilah at night” here. Basically, the program is about dedication time. Every caller shares her/his touching, sadness, or appreciation stories on the air, and Delilah finds a prefect song to fit stories. Sometimes, she also gives some suggestion or tries to set the mood. Therefore, you might hear many stories on her program.

Recently, I heard a very sweet story from a mother. She is a diabetic. As you might know, diabetic is a complicated disease. You should contort the level of sugar in bloods. It’s hard to say that diabetic can be completely cured. On the other hand, it means that diabetic might be with you in entire life. The mother who is diabetic has a little daughter. I don’t exactly remember how old she is. It’s probably 5 years old. Since her mother is a diabetic, she is always told that her mother is a diabetic. One day, she said: “Mom, you are not diabetic. You are livabetic.” Do you know what the little daughter means? The pronunciation of “diabetic” sounds like “die” plus “abetic”. So, every time, pronouncing “diabetic” sounds her mother is going to die. She believes “diabetic” doesn’t beat her mother. Her mother is going to fight diabetic and to be “livabetic” which does mean “live” plus “abetic”. What’s a sweet little daughter! She is so sweet, isn’t she?

Hopefully, we always have positive and optimistic attitudes to face our challenges and difficulties. Also, you should give our family members and friends a maximum support. Being a supportive person is to help you in the future when you need some supports from others. Especially, we do have the almighty God. He is always supporting us to through everything what you face.
